We are happy to report that Buy Kiwi is growing exponentially, and we reached over 1 million kiwis last month, with many of them signing up as Buy Kiwi members.
Our team is committed to creating a one-stop-shop destination for anything and everything Kiwi shoppers may need, while supporting Kiwi-owned and operated businesses, like yours.
We are continuously making improvements to the Buy Kiwi platform, so if you’re ever stuck or need help, please reach out as we’d love to help make your seller journey as smooth as possible.
Our marketing efforts are well underway, including channels many of you are familiar with such as Google, Facebook, Insta, Bing and much more.
One channel that we think you will particularly benefit from, is Google. Here are three tips that we think will help you boost your sales on not just Buy Kiwi, but your e-commerce website as well.
The One Percenters:
1. Always include the GTIN and/or MPN on your products – Click the link below to learn more about this. Did you know Google and many other channels give a “bonus” to products with a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) or MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) and can penalise a product it believes has a GTIN/MPN and it is not part of the product information. 2. Take the time to complete Google Categories – utilising the Google Product Category effectively is crucial for accurately classifying your products, improving visibility, enhancing the user experience, targeting advertising campaigns, and gaining insights. By investing time and effort into optimising this aspect, you can maximize the effectiveness of your product listings and drive better results for your business.
More Information on Google Categories can be found here.

3. Use the analytics in your Google Merchant Centre to understand your Price Competitiveness – Google Merchant Center allows you to upload and manage your product data for use in Google Shopping and other Google services. You can monitor the accuracy and competitiveness of your prices by reviewing the diagnostics and comparing your prices to competitors’ prices in search results.
